SiC-photodiodes for REMS of curiosity

SiC-photodiodes on bord of Mars Rover "Curiosity" are measuring UV-radiation on mars.

6 UV-photodiodes from ifw optronics GmbH are assembled in the weather station REMS (Rover Environmental Monitoring Station) of Curiosity, they are monitoring the UV-radiation on the landing place on mars in the wavelenght ranges 220...280nm, 230...290nm, 280...320nm, 300...350nm, 315...370nm and 200...370nm.
